Quirky and fairly clean place, welcoming and pleasant staff especially the receptionist that booked us in. Incredible breakfast selection for all tastes with steak. Gorgeous building and immaculate and vintage rooms with 3 single beds.

I enjoyed the easy access to Bath Abbey and the beautiful Victoria Art Gallery, both just a short walk away. The friendly staff also.

Had good hot breakfasts with yogurt and lovely touches such as leaf tea in the bar. The location was incredible in a very comfortable area, adjacent to train station, bus station, local bus stop, many places of interest and a variety of very good restaurants and Art Gallery and Very close to shop's;))

convenience to railroad station
staff at desk not generally "friendly" but OK, room tiny but seemed clean enough and price seemed consistent with other facilities in England outside London

Unique historical decor creates a fascinating atmosphere throughout the hotel. Proximity to the railway and bus stations ensures easy access to explore the city without hassle.
The room left a lot to be desired-sized smaller and felt older than the images online suggested. A dirty carpet and creaking floors offered a less than comforting experience, and the lack of soundproofing allowed conversations from neighbors to intrude on our peace. Shower temperature inconsistencies made dealing with hot water a bit of an adventure, and the bathroom could also use a touch-up.

A Comforting Stop in the Heart of Bath
Perfectly situated for train travelers, I enjoyed my brief stay. The breakfast, with its charming presentation and variety of options, was like a good journey back in time. For future guests, I recommend arriving early to settle in before exploring the city's nearby attractions.

The small double room was a bit cozier than I had anticipated, but it was clean and had a charming historical vibe that I appreciated. The hotel is conveniently close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which enhanced my experience during my stay.

The position was very good being near the railway and bus stations, and within walking distance of the attractions of the city. The single room was adequate and comfortable.
The breakfast was good, but the service for the one evening meal I had was very slow, and the meal itself was average.

Central location, great if you are travelling to Bath by train. Lovely choice of breakfasts (inc full English). Very easy to store luggage there. Traditional hotel is fitting with Bath.
Not the hotel's fault as we took the last room - but would have preferred a double room as opposed to a twin. Being on a main street, it can be noisy with the windows open, but noise was fine when closed.
